Rules and Regulations
Articles L.231-2 and L.231-3 of the Code of Sport, and notice n°13 published by the French Athletic Association (FFA) on the 21st of April 2008, require all French and foreign runners to provide proof of their fitness to run in competition, as justified by a valid medical certificate or one of several types of valid athletic license.
WARNING
Because it is the race organisers' direct responsibility to respect these regulations,
if you fail to provide proof of your medical certificate or valid athletic license,
you will not be permitted to participate in the "20 Kilomètres de Paris".
Non-licensed runners
You are required to possess a medical certificate that was issued less than one year before the day of the race, and that bears the obligatory mention of "no contraindication to the practice of running in competition" or "no contraindication to the practice of athletics in competition". This medical certificate, or a signed, certified copy thereof, must be provided to the race organiser. These requirements also apply to foreign participants.
Licensed runners
From now on, only the following licenses are accepted:
- FFA
- Pass'Running
- FSCF Running
- FSGT Running
- UFOLEP Running
- FFTriathlon.
Runners with FFA, FSCF Running, FSGT Running, UFOLEP Running and FFTriathlon licenses must send us a copy of their valid license (2010-2011 season).
Runners in possession of a Pass'Running are also required to send us a copy of their valid license (issued less than one year before the date of the race).
